Bantonare.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The workshop aimed to strengthen our team\u2019s awareness, preparedness, confidence, and ability to respond appropriately during critical situations. Through practical discussions, scenario-based activities, and hands-on exercises, participants learned essential response strategies, team coordination, communication, and evidence-based protocols to guide decision-making in active attacker situations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">More than learning techniques, the training emphasized the importance of remaining alert, responding responsibly, and making informed, life-saving decisions under pressure. It also reinforced the role of every member of the school community in promoting a culture of safety, preparedness, and resilience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Recent events remind us that school safety is everyone\u2019s responsibility. While we hope that these skills will never have to be used, being prepared can make a crucial difference when every second matters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This initiative also supports Sustainable Development Goal 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions, particularly in promoting safe, peaceful, inclusive, and resilient institutions and communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At St. Thomas More School of Law and Business, we continue to invest in the knowledge, skills, and preparedness of our people\u2014not only for their own safety, but for the protection and well-being of the entire school community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Train.
