No.3\u00a0 Series of 2012.\u00a0 Legal education refers to a professional educational program that cultivates and imparts an understanding of the law, its articulation in jurisprudence and the administration of justice.\u00a0 It is a post-baccalaureate degree program and includes both basic law course as well as graduate courses in law.\u00a0<\/p><p>The legal education provided by St. Thomas More School of Law and Business to its students was previously under the Bachelor of Laws (Ll.B) program but recently, it shifted to Juris Doctor (J.D) in compliance with the mandate of the Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Arts or Sciences, or a higher academic degree, from an authorized and recognized university or college in the Philippines.\u00a0\u00a0In further compliance with the requirements set forth by the Legal Education Board (LEB), the applicant must have completed at least eighteen (18) units of English, six (6) units of Mathematics (three (3) units of Algebra and three (3) units of Trigonometry), eighteen (18) units of Social Science (Political Science, Anthropology, Economics and Taxation)\u00a0\u00a0and three (3) units of Rizal.<br \/>\u00a0<br \/>The applicant shall likewise be required to submit the following documents:<br \/>\u00a0<br \/>1. Original or certified true copy of collegiate transcript of records;<\/p><p>2. Duly authenticated Certificate of Birth;<\/p><p>3. Certificate of Good Moral Character from the school last attended; and<\/p><p>4.
